Congratulations to those who have a home or business in Jacksonville, Florida. As you know, it's a great place to live and work with year-around warm weather. Unfortunately it does have a higher crime rate per capita, than the average for the United States. Although overall crime has decreased since 1999, it has been mostly in the violent, person-to-person category. Theft and damage to property has remained high.
